Common questions
How do I play?
Tap an empty socket to place the next part from the tray, and tap a placed part to turn it. Hold your finger on a placed part to remove it, or on the big part in the tray to throw it away; both count as wasted parts. A part is locked once the current has entered it.
I'm stuck on a level. What can I do?
After three failed attempts on the same level you can skip it from the pause menu (the ⏸ button at the top left) and come back later. It often helps to watch where the current goes first, and build that stretch before anything else.
How does the Daily Circuit work?
There is one new circuit every day, the same for everyone, and it can only be played on its day. The clock keeps running across retries and stops when your network is connected. Solving it every day builds your streak. Seven days in a row earn a freeze (you can hold two), and a freeze is used automatically if you miss a day.
How do I remove the ads, or get my purchase back?
Remove Ads is a one-time purchase in the game's Settings. It removes the banner and the ads before new chapters. If you have bought it before, for example on another iPhone, tap Restore Purchases in Settings while signed in with the same Apple Account.
Will I lose my progress if I change phones?
Your progress is stored on your iPhone, without an account. It comes along when you set up a new iPhone from an iCloud or computer backup, but deleting the app deletes it.
Why can't I see the leaderboards?
Leaderboards and achievements use Game Center. Sign in under Settings → Game Center on your iPhone and open Flux Ahead again. Achievements you earned while signed out are sent when you sign in.
There is no sound. What's wrong?
Flux Ahead follows your iPhone's silent mode, so turn silent mode off. Then check that sound is on in the game's pause menu, where you can also turn vibration on or off.
